AFCAT Exam Pattern: The Indian Air Force has released the official notification for AFCAT (I) 2023. As per the official notification, there are a total of 258 vacancies. The AFCAT Exam comprises of written tests, psychological tests, group tests, interviews, and medical examinations. Candidates who opt for Ground Duty (Technical) have to appear for AFCAT and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT), while other candidates have to appear for AFCAT only. The exam is conducted online. The question paper is set in English. AFCAT comprises 100 questions while EKT has 50 questions. The space below has all the details on the AFACT Exam Pattern and marking scheme.

AFCAT Exam Pattern: Online Test

In the AFCAT Online Test, a total of 100 questions are asked from General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning, and Military Aptitude Test. The exam is conducted for two hours. The maximum mark allotted to the exam is 300. EKT is conducted for 45 minutes and a total of 50 questions are asked from Mechanical, Computer Science, and Electrical & Electronics. The maximum mark allotted to EKT is 150. Questions in AFCAT and EKT are objective and multiple choice type. In both AFCAT and EKT, one mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
