APSC AE Selection Process
The candidates who are attending the APSC AE recruitment 2020 will have to undergo a couple of stages in the selection process. Candidates need to complete all the stages in order to be considered for the post. The selection process is as follows.
- Stage I - Screening/Written Test.
- Stage II - Viva Voice/Interview Process
APSC Assistant Engineer Selection Process - Written Test
The first stage of the APSC AE selection process will be the written test examination. This will be on an OMR based exam. Candidates who qualify for this stage after attaining the required cut off marks will be able to attend the Interview Process. The exam pattern for the written test is given below.

- The exam will consist of two sections. (Civil Engineering and General Studies)
- With a total of 160 marks, Civil Engineering paper will weigh 100 marks and General Studies Paper will weigh 60 marks.
- The exam duration will be 2 hours.

APSC Assistant Engineer Selection Process - Interview Process
Candidates who complete the written test of the APSC Assistant Engineer selection process will be called up for the interview process. In order to be selected for the interview process, candidates need to score more than the cut off marks as prepared by the board. In the interview process, the candidate will be tested based on his personality and knowledge related to the job. After the completion of this stage, the board will publish the final merit list. Candidates who fall under the merit list that will be published on the official website will be selected for the post.
