CISF Constable Educational Qualification
Matriculation (Class 10th pass) or its equivalent from a recognised board for skilled trades is required (i.e. Barber, Mason, Cook, Carpenter, Boot Maker, Electrician, Mali, Painter, Plumber and Washer Man). Personnel trained at the Industrial Training Institute will be given special consideration. For unskilled trades (i.e. Sweeper) candidates must have a Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognised board .

CISF Constable : Physical Standards
Candidates must verify the CISF Eligibility criterion for Constable after evaluating their age and educational qualifications. Physical Standards is another important factor to consider. CISF Constable Eligibility Criteria: For Ex-Servicemen
- Ex-servicemen with the rank of Lance Naik or Sepoy in the Army, or comparable status in the Air Force or Navy, may apply for the position of Constable/Tradesmen.
- Ex-soldiers with the rank of Nayab-Subedar, Havildar, Subedar, Naik, or comparable rank in the Army, Navy, or Air Force are also eligible to apply.
- Break-in Service: Ex-servicemen must have served in the Army, Navy, or Air Force for no more than three years as of the closing date for receiving applications from applicants, including candidates from the North East Region.
- On production of caste certificates in the prescribed format, SC/ST applicants must be 05 years old and OBC candidates must be 03 years old. The deadline for calculating the age restriction for candidates, including those from the North East Region, is fast approaching.
- Candidates must have completed Matriculation or the equivalent, or Army 1st Class or the equivalent in the Air Force or Navy
