CISF Constable(Tradesman) 2022 Exam Pattern


The Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Documentation Process, and a Trade Test are all part of the CISF Constable 2022 Selection Process. Candidates who pass all of these tests will advance to the Written Examination. 


 STAGE 1 : The height bar test (HBT)

The height bar test is the first stage; male applicants who want to pass the height bar test must be roughly 170 cm tall in order to go to the next round/stage, which is the PET. This is the first round, which is just for the purpose of qualification and does not carry any marks.


STAGE 2: Physical Efficiency Test for BSF Constable Traders (PET)

Those who pass the height bar test will move on to Stage II, the physical efficiency test, which consists of a 1.6-kilometer race that must be completed in under 6 minutes and 30 seconds. 


STAGE 3: Physical Standard Test for CISF Constable Tradesman (PST) 

The chest and height dimensions are vary for different categories of the CISF Constable Tradesman Post. As an illustration: The recommended height for Adivasis from all states and union territories, including the Nagas and Mizos, is 162.5 cm, with chest dimensions ranging from 76 to 81 centimetres. For the General category, the preferred height is 170 cms, with chest measurements ranging from 80 to 85 centimetres.

STAGE 4 : Process of Documentation

 The documents of candidates who have passed the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be thoroughly scrutinised. It includes documents such as educational credentials, birth certificates, and domicile certificates, among others, without which candidates will be rejected from the recruiting process and receive a rejection slip.
 

  1.  Educational certificates. (10th/12th class certificates)
  2.  Date of birth(DOB) certificates. (Matriculation or 10th pass certificate).
  3.  Domicile certificates would have been issued by the competent revenue authorities for proving their domiciliary status.
  4.  SC/ST, OBC, and EWS Certificates, if it is applicable. Caste certificates should be in a certain prescribed manner as given in the CISF Constable 2022 official notification or else it shall not be accepted.
  5.  Caste certificates of the candidates shall only be considered if they have been issued from the domicile State of the candidate, i.e. both certificates (Caste & Domicile) should both be issued from the same State.
  6. Candidates who fall in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas & candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir as well as Leh & Ladakh regions of J&K(Jammu & Kashmir) who request for relaxation in the height & chest measurements should produce certificates in the certain prescribed format as per the official notice. 
  7.  A discharge certificate is required as per rules in the case of Ex-servicemen.
  8. No objection Certificate shall be required in case of people who are serving in Govt./Semi-Govt. Departments from their Head of Office. 
  9.  In the case of wards who are serving the CISF personnel, who are applying from a certain State other than their Home State, certificates have to be submitted by them. 
  10.  Four recent passport size photographs of the candidates are required. 
  11.  Identification Certificates in case of WPRs (West Pakistani Refugees) who are residing in the State of J&K (Jammu & Kashmir) is a requirement.
  12. Domicile certificates for all those who had ordinarily resided in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01.01.1980 up to 31.12.1989 in case of age relaxation.
  13.  The applicant should be carrying an identity proof such as Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Identity Card as issued by the University/College, Income Tax/Pan Card in original which he/she shall have mentioned in his/her application form.


STAGE 5 : (Qualifying in Nature) 

Candidates who pass the Height Bar Test (HBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and a thorough documentation process will be subjected to a trade test as required for each position (such as barber, cobbler, cook, or gardener). Cooks, for example, are given numerous chores such as cooking chapati, rice, dal, veggies, and so on. Candidates who pass this round advance to stage VI, which is the written exam.

(A). COOK
  1. The cooking of Chapati and Rice
  2. Cooking of vegetables/ Dal/ Sambar or Idli for around 100 men
  3. The cooking of non-veg items like Meat/ Fish/ Egg as well as sweet dishes like Kheer
(B) BOOTMAKER/ COBBLER
  1. Shoe-polishing
  2. Handling of tools
  3. Cutting of leather repair as well as the .stitching of shoes
(C) BARBER
  1. Handing tools in the barbershop(Razor, comb, duster brush, etc.)
  2. Proper Hair Cutting
  3. Good sense of shaving
(D) WASHER MAN
  1. Good at washing clothes
  2. Ironing of Khaki Cotton Uniforms
  3. Ironing of woollen or terry cotton uniforms
(E) CARPENTER
  1. Handling of tools (Claw hammer, chisel, screwdriver) 
  2. Proper cutting of wood
  3. Fitting, polishing as well finishing of material
(F) SWEEPER
  1. Sweeping of floors
  2. Proper Cleaning of toilets
  3. Good Cleaning of bathrooms etc
(G)PAINTER
  1. Good Knowledge of colors, paints & various shades(light, dark, etc)
  2. Nice Painting of sign-boards
  3. Painting/drawing skills should be apt
(H) MASON
  1. Masonry/Construction work 
  2. Good Plastering work
  3. Laying down of floor tiles as well as proper plastering floor work
(I) PLUMBER
  1. Laying of pipelines
  2. Proper Repairing of water pipelines
  3. Fitting of Taps, Geyser, Flush as well as Wash Basins
(J)MALI (Gardener) 
  1. Plantations & making of grafts.
  2. Maintenance of various plants. (Easter Lily, Elm, English Ivy etc.) 
  3. Knowledge of seeds & their sowing season as well as fertilizers.
  4. Knowledge of indigenous manures. (green, farmyard, compost, etc.) 
(K) ELECTRICIAN
  1. Good knowledge of AC/DC current
  2. New Electric Fitting skills
  3. Rectification of any kind of electric faults

IMPORTANT INFORMATION :

The CISF Constable 2022 Exam will last 2 hours. The written exam will be OMR-based, with a total score of 100. The minimum qualifying marks for UR(including General), EWS/ESM, and SC/ST/OBC will be 35 percent for UR(including General), EWS/ESM, and 33 percent for SC/ST/OBC. It will be a multilingual question paper (i.e both Hindi & English). Candidates will be called solely on the basis of their written examination performance and marks. Requests for a reassessment of the written exam answer sheet or requests to re-conduct the written examination will not be considered. If you want to pass the CISF Constable (Tradesman) 2022 Exam, make sure you follow these steps. You can't go wrong if you keep all of these details in mind.
  • The candidate should mention their Roll Number on both the Question Booklet as well as the OMR Answer Sheet.
  • The answers should be marked on the OMR sheet only.
  • The Series Number & the Series Code of the Question Booklet should be entered on the OMR Answer Sheet & similarly the Series Number & Series Code of the Answer Sheet should be mentioned on the Question Paper.
  • The candidate should make sure to make the following entries in the OMR answer sheet otherwise it shall not be evaluated.
