DU Entrance Examination 2022: Undergrad Admissions Through Entrance Test From Next Year

Are you dreaming of joining Delhi University for Undergrad? The well-known system of cut-offs based on boards marks is set to be replaced by entrance examination. Students studying in class 12 will not be able to take admission in DU on the basis of marks in the Board exams of class 12. DU Entrance Examination 2022 is confirmed now and all India-based examinations will decide the faith of lack of future DU Entrants. The updates are as follows:

1. The Executive Committee of Delhi University gave approval to the Entrance Examination on 17 th of December 2021.
2. The Academic Council had already given its nod to the entrance examination.
3. The modalities related to the DU Entrance Examination are yet to be notified.

DU Entrance Examination 

Some universities in India are already admitting students based on centralized CUCET. The likes of prestigious Banaras Hindu University, JNU etc admit students based on their own entrance examination. Delhi University one of the most sought-after destinations for students till now followed a system of admissions based on marks in the entrance examination. Details Related To Du Entrance Examination 

As of now the details of the examination have not been made public by the university, there is ambiguity around:

1. The body that will conduct an examination for the admissions.
2. There is no light as of yet on the pattern of examination and marking scheme.
3. Some news outlets even hint toward the possibility of a hybrid pattern of admissions based on entrance examination and board examination.
