ESIC Eligibility Criteria 2022

The details of the eligibility criteria for different posts under ESIC are covered below. We have covered not only the ESIC Eligibility for Stenographer, Upper Division Clerk, and Multi-Tasking Staff are released by ESIC, but also other relevant posts.

ESIC UDC Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

1. Candidates should be between 18 to 27 years of age. 
2. The details of age relaxation are as follows:

Age Relaxation is permissible beyond the Upper age limit.
SC/ST	5 years
OBC	3 years
PH	UR- 10 years OBC- 13 years SC/ST- 15 years According to the guidelines of DoPT, a PWD applicant is entitled to an age exemption in various combinations according to the requirement of the age of 56 years. Further, in the case of a PWD, since it is an ESIC / Govt. Employee, the concession to him/her shall be admissible either as a 'disability person' or as an ESIC/Govt. Employee's, which might be more helpful to him/her.
Ex-Servicemen	UR- 3 years (*) OBC- 6 years (*) SC/ST- 8 years (*) (*) after the withdrawal of the military service rendered from the actual age.
ESIC Employee/ Government Servant who have contributed not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on closing date for receipt of application	UR- up to 40 years OBC- up to 43 years SC/ST- up to 45 years  Note- The candidate is supposed to continue to have the position of ESIC / Government. Servant until the time of appointment, in case of selection.
Other categories of persons	In accordance with the instructions and orders issued from time to time.

 

ESIC Eligibility: Educational Qualification

Candidates should have completed their graduation from a recognized university or college. Candidates should also have knowledge about the working of computers.

ESIC Insurance Medical Officer (IMO) Eligibility

Age Limit
The upper age limit to apply for this post is 30 years. There is age relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the rules of the Government of India.

Educational Qualification

1. The candidate must have a recognized medical qualification which are other than the Approved Qualifications of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Candidates who hold educational qualifications included in the various subjects in the exam should also comply with the conditions laid down in Section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
2. Candidates must have completed a compulsory rotating internship. Applicants who have not completed a rotating internship may be required to appear for a written test provided that, if chosen, they have completed a mandatory rotating internship before appointment.
3. The candidates must have a registration with the Medical Council of India.

 

ESIC Social Security Officer (SSO) Eligibility

Age Limit
Candidates should be between 21 to 27 years of age. The details of age relaxation provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories are as follows:

Category	Age Relaxation is permissible beyond the Upper age limit.
SC/ST	5 years
OBC	3 years
PH	UR- 10 years  OBC- 13 years  SC/ST- 15 years According to the guidelines of DoPT, a PWD applicant is entitled to age concession in different combinations subject to the condition of the maximum age of 56 years. Further in case of a PWD by virtue of being an ESIC/Govt. Employee, concession to him/her will be admissible either as a 'person with disability' or as an ESIC/Govt. Employee' whichever may be more beneficial to him/her.
Ex-Servicemen	UR- 3 years (*)  OBC- 6 years (*)  SC/ST- 8 years (*) (*) after the withdrawal of the military service rendered from the actual age
ESIC Employee/ Government Servant who have contributed not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on closing date for receipt of application	UR- up to 40 years OBC- up to 43 years  SC/ST- up to 45 years Note- The candidate is supposed to continue to have the status of ESIC/ Govt. servant until the time of appointment, in case of their selection.
Other categories of persons	In accordance with the instructions and orders issued from time to time

Educational Qualification
The candidate must have a degree from a recognized University (Candidates who are graduates in Commerce/Law/Management will be given more preference).
