ESIC Eligibility Criteria 2022

- Candidates should be between 18 to 27 years of age.

According to the guidelines of DoPT, a PWD applicant is entitled to an age exemption in various combinations according to the requirement of the age of 56 years. Further, in the case of a PWD, since it is an ESIC / Govt. Employee, the concession to him/her shall be admissible either as a 'disability person' or as an ESIC/Govt. Employee's, which might be more helpful to him/her. |
Ex-Servicemen |
(*) after the withdrawal of the military service rendered from the actual age. |
ESIC Employee/ Government Servant who have contributed not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on closing date for receipt of application |

ESIC Insurance Medical Officer (IMO) Eligibility
Age LimitThe upper age limit to apply for this post is 30 years. There is age relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the rules of the Government of India.
Educational Qualification
- The candidate must have a recognized medical qualification which are other than the Approved Qualifications of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Candidates who hold educational qualifications included in the various subjects in the exam should also comply with the conditions laid down in Section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Candidates must have completed a compulsory rotating internship. Applicants who have not completed a rotating internship may be required to appear for a written test provided that, if chosen, they have completed a mandatory rotating internship before appointment.
- The candidates must have a registration with the Medical Council of India.
ESIC Social Security Officer (SSO) Eligibility
Age LimitCandidates should be between 21 to 27 years of age. The details of age relaxation provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories are as follows:
