Number of Candidates Applied for Agniveer Air Force Recruitment 2022
The IAF announced via Twitter that the online registration process for the Agnipath Recruitment Scheme was complete. In contrast to the previous recruitment cycle's record-breaking 6,31,528 applications, this one saw 7,49,899 submissions, according to the statement. Under the Agnipath programme, persons between the ages of 17 and a half and 21 would be enlisted for a four-year stint in the armed forces, with 25% of them thereafter being enlisted for regular service.
Even before this, on June 29, 2022, the IAF released statistics on Agneepath Recruitment applications. It had received over 2 Lakh registrations at the time, demonstrating that the audience was eager to join as Agniveers despite the Agnipath objections.
