In-hand salary is what is received by the employee after all the deductions. IBPS clerk have a handsome in-hand salary. The In-hand salary for the IBPS Clerk is Rs. 19,461 for those who join initially which increases as the number of years of service keep increasing.

IBPS Clerk Allowances and Benefits

Apart from a handsome amount of salary IBPS Clerk also enjoy various allowances and benefits which are as follows:
  • Dearness Allowance: This component is 4 per cent of the Basic Pay. DA depends on the CPI and is revised after every three months.
  • Travel Allowance:  The official tours and travels will be reimbursed by the bank.
  • Medical Allowance: For IBPS Clerks, the amount is fixed at INR 2000. Medical allowance is provided once in a year.
  • House Rent Allowance: The HRA is dependent on the location of the posting. It is 8.5 per cent of the Basic Pay for Metro Cities, 7.5 per cent of the Basic Pay for cities having a population of more than 5 lakhs, and 6.5 per cent of the Basic Pay for other cities.
