IBPS RRB PO Eligibility: Nationality

A candidate is eligible to apply and appear for IBPS RRB Exam 2021 if he/she is:

• A Citizen of India 
• A Subject of Nepal 
• A Subject of Bhutan 
• A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, to permanently settle in India 
• A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

IBPS RRB PO 2021 Eligibility: Age Limit

The age limit for IBPS RRB PO as of 01.06.2022 is:
Candidates must be above 18 years of age and below 30 years of age i.e., candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1992 and later than 31.05.2004 (both dates inclusive).

Besides, candidates belonging to certain categories are given relaxation in the upper age limit the details of which are as follows:

Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen In the case of Ex-servicemen commissioned officers, including ECOs/ SSCOs, who have rendered at least 5 years of military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within the next one year from the last date for receipt of application) other than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or on account of physical disability attributable to military service or on invalided, subject to the ceiling as per Government guidelines	5 years
Persons affected by 1984 riots	5 years
Persons ordinarily domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir between 1st January 1980 & 31st December 1989	5 years

IBPS RRB PO Eligibility: Educational Qualification

The educational qualification that must be possessed by candidates in order to be eligible for IBPS RRB 2022 Exam are:
Candidates should have completed graduation from a recognised University or College

• Preference will be given to the candidates having a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy
• Candidates should know the local language of the participating RRBs
• It is desirable that the candidate has knowledge of Computer
