1 December – World Aids Day
Every year on December 1, World AIDS Day is commemorated to increase awareness of the HIV infection-related disease known as AIDS. The World Health Organization runs a significant and well-liked campaign called World AIDS Day. The world's largest conference on HIV and AIDS will be held in person and virtually for the first time in Montreal, Canada, to ensure that as many people as possible can attend. 2 December – International Day of Abolition of Slavery
Every year on December 2, people all across the world mark the International Day to Abolish Slavery. The legal prohibition of slavery, notably the institutional servitude of Black people in the United States, constituted the abolition of slavery. With the subject "Ending Slavery's Legacy of Racism: A Global Imperative for Justice," this day was observed in 2021.

The third of December is recognised as International Day of People with Disabilities throughout the world.
