MP TET Eligibility: Nationality 


A candidate must be :
  • A Citizen of India 
  • A Subject of Nepal 
  • A Subject of Bhutan 
  • A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, to permanently settle in India 
  • A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

MP TET Eligibility: Age LImit 

As per the notifications for MP TET, a candidate must have attained 21 years of age. The upper age criteria for the MP TET exam is 35 years.  Unlike other exams, there are no age relaxations provided to any category. All the candidates must be between the prescribed age limit to apply.

MP TET Eligibility: Educational Qualification 

There are two basic educational qualifications for the MP TET Eligibility. The educational qualification is covered for various categories like-  primary, middle, and high school teachers in the state.
MP TET Eligibility   Details 
For Primary Teacher (Classes I to V):
 
  • The candidate must have a Diploma Degree from a recognized university.
  • Must have passed 12th with at least 50% marks from a recognized board.
For Secondary Teachers (Classes VI to VIII) The candidate should be a B.Ed degree holder and a graduate with at least 50% aggregate from a perceived University.

MP TET Eligibility: Number Of Attempts 

There is generally no bar on the number of attempts if the candidate meets other criteria. One can appear any number of times.

Following certificate should be there with the candidates to prove eligibility.
  • Class 12 passing certificate
  • Diploma in Education or B.Ed. passing certificate
  • Valid Photo ID Proof

A. The MP TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test which is conducted at the state level to shortlist candidates for appointment as teachers in schools.

Q. What is the minimum qualification for the MP TET exam?

A. The basic eligibility criteria for MP TET are:

  • Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or completed teacher training program/course

Q. Can I give MP TET after class 12?

A. Yes, you can appear for only the primary teacher exam of the MP TET exam after passing class 12 exams. For Paper 2, candidates are required to have a bachelor's degree.

A. The difficulty level of the MP TET exams varies on the basis of questions asked in the exam. Usually, the questions asked in the MP TET exams are of moderate difficulty level.
