NABARD Grade-A Exam Pattern

The NABARD Grade-A Exam Pattern comprises two online written tests followed by an Interview. The candidates have to qualify each level to get a final appointment as a NABARD Grade A Officer.

NABARD Grade A Exam Pattern: Preliminary Exam

The highlights of the NABARD Grade A Preliminary Exam are mentioned below:

  • The examination will be conducted online in a computer-based mode.

  • This is screening round is qualifying in nature and the marks scored will not be considered for final selection.

  • There will be a composite duration of 120 minutes to complete the test.

  • As per the marking scheme, the candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer while there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for the wrong answer.

NABARD Grade A Exam Pattern: Mains Exam

The Mains exam is the second round of the selection process and comprises of two papers i.e. Objective and Descriptive. The candidates have to score high marks in this round to qualify for the Interview round. 

 

Paper 1: Descriptive

The first paper will be a descriptive paper and in this, the candidates will be required to type the correct answers to questions using a keyboard. 

  • Paper 1 will be held for 1.5 hours and this will be common to candidates of all the disciplines.

  • Questions in the Paper 1 will be based on essay writing, comprehension, report writing, paragraph, and writing & letter writing.

  • The maximum mark allotted to the Paper 1 is 100 marks.

Paper 2: Objective

The Objective paper pattern will be similar to all the students however the syllabus and topics will be different for all the posts.

  • The duration of the examination will be 1.5 hours and the total marks allotted to this paper will be 100.

  • The marking scheme ascertains 1 mark for every correct answer while deducting 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

Interview

The Interview is the last stage of the examination and is held for 25 marks and the score of Mains and Interview will decide the appointment of candidates.
