PPSC JE Eligibility Criteria: Nationality
Candidates should be- Citizen of India; or
- Citizen of Nepal; or
- The subject of Bhutan; or
- Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st of January. 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India; or.
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries.
PPSC JE Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit
Candidates between the age of 18 to 37 years are eligible to appear for PPSC JE Exam. There is age relaxation provided to candidates belonging to various categories. The details of age relaxation are as follows:

PPSC JE Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification
There are two domains for which the exam is conducted- Civil and Mechanical. The required educational qualification for each of these domains are as follows:Civil
Candidate should possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent/higher qualification from a recognized University or institution or any other equivalent or higher qualification recognized by the Government and candidates having completed Matric in Punjabi or its equivalent Standard is compulsory and will be preferred for both the posts.
Mechanical
Candidate should possess Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent/higher qualification from a recognized University or institution or any other equivalent or higher qualification recognized by the Government and candidates having completed Matric in Punjabi or its equivalent Standard is compulsory and will be preferred for the Junior Engineer posts.
