RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria: Nationality
As per the official notification, a candidate must be.- A Citizen of India
- A Subject of Nepal
- A Subject of Bhutan
- A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, to permanently settle in India
- A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification
Candidates should have completed their graduation with at least 50% marks to be eligible for RBI Assistant Exam. The details related to the educational qualification are as follows:- For SC/ST/PWD candidates, passing class marks are also sufficient to apply for the exam.
- A person from the Ex-Servicemen category should either be a Graduate from any Government recognized University/ should have passed matriculation/ or examination of Armed Forces and rendered at 15 years of defense service.
- In case a candidate is applying from a particular state or region, he or she is should know how to read, write and speak the regional language of that particular region.
RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria: Number of Attempts
There is no restriction on the number of attempts for RBI Assistant Exam. Candidates can appear for the exam multiple times provided they satisfy the eligibility criteria mentioned above.To know more read here.
