The Reserve Bank of India Services Board conducts the RBI Grade B Exam every year to recruit suitable candidates for the post of Grade B officers in RBI. This is a highly revered exam. Each year lacks os aspirants apply for this exam.  To get recruited in the RBI Assistant post the candidates must know the RBI Grade B Exam Pattern.
  • RBI Assistant examination comprises 4 sections Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, English, and General Awareness for the preliminary examination.
  • The exam will be held for three phases i.e preliminary, mains, and interview round to secure a seat in the RBI Grade B.

RBI Grade B Exam Pattern 

The exam as mentioned above comprises of three stages:
  1. Preliminary Exam 
  2. Mains 
  3. Interview Round
The exam pattern of various stages is given below:

RBI Grade B Exam Pattern: Preliminary Exam

  1. The exam will be held in online mode.
  2.  The total number of questions is 200. 
  3. The questions are objective type.
  4. There are 4 sections in the exam.
  5. Each correct answer will fetch a candidate with 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
  6. The duration of the exam is 2 hours.

RBI Grade B Exam Pattern: Mains

  1. This is a part Objective and Part descriptive paper.
  2. The total marks in this exam are 300,
  3. There are three papers in this stage.
