RRB JE Exam Pattern

RRB JE selection process comprises of  stages:

1. CBT (Computer Based Test) Stage – I
2. CBT (Computer Based Test) Stage – II
3. Document Verification 
4. Medical Examination

Candidates should qualify all of these stages to be selected for the post. The details regarding each of these stages are given below.
   

RRB JE Exam Pattern: CBT Stage I

There is a minimum percentage of marks that must be scored by candidates to clear stage 1 test and be eligible for stage 2. The category-wise details are as follows:

Subjects under Technical Abilities are as follows:

Three years Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree inEngineering/Technology	Exam Group
Mechanical Engineering Production Engineering Automobile Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Mechatronics Engineering Industrial Engineering Machining Engineering Tools and Machining Engineering Tools and Die Making Engineering Combination of any sub stream of basic streams of above disciplines	Mechanical and Allied Engineering
Electrical Engineering Combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Electrical Engineering	Electrical and Allied Engineering

The minimum percentage that candidates must score to qualify stage II are as follows:

RRB JE Exam Pattern: Document Verification

After qualifying stage II, candidates have to appear for document verification. The documents that the candidates must have are as follows:

1. Matriculation/10th standard Certificate or Equivalent certificate like Proof of Date of Birth(DOB).
2. 10 +2 / Higher Secondary/PUC certificates of candidates shall be required. 
3. Diploma / Engineering/Science Degree Certificate along with Semester wise Mark Sheets are needed.
4. SC/ST certificates if applicable.
5. OBC-NCL(Non-Creamy Layer) certificates as required.
6. Non-creamy layer declaration certificate in case of OBC candidates.
7. Income Certificates of candidates are required.
8. Minority Community certificates of candidates required. 

After this candidates have to appear for a medical examination.
