SSB Head Constable Eligibility

As per the official notification, the eligibility is based on the following parameters. Candidates should ensure they meet all the criteria, only then they would be allowed to appear for the exam.

1. Nationality 
2. Age Limit 
3. Educational Qualification 
4. Number of Attempts.

SSB Head Constable Eligibility: Nationality 

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen

• The Tibetian refugee who have migrated to India before January 01, 1962

• Indian origin persons from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanzania who has now settled permanently in India

SSB Head Constable Eligibility: Age Limit 

A candidate should be within the age limit of 18 to 25.  Class 10 th certificate is admissible as the proof of date of birth. There are various relaxations as per the government rules which are mentioned below.

OBC	3 years
Persons with Disabilities (PWD)	10 years
PWD + OBC	13 years
PWD + SC/ ST	15 years

As per the official notification, a candidate should have passed the class 12 exam from a recognized board in India.

SSB Head Constable Eligibility: Number of Attempts 

There is no bar on the number of attempts as such. If a candidate is eligible as per other criteria he can apply for the post any number of times.
