Telangana Police Constable selection will be made based on performance of a candidate in 3 stages – Prelims exam, Physical measurement and efficiency test, and the final written exam.

TS Police Constable Exam Pattern for Preliminary Exam:

  • TS Police constable exam has 200 objective type questions for 200 marks.
  • RBI Assistant Prelims exam is available in the English, Telugu and Urdu languages, except for the English section.
  • The total time for the TS Police constable prelims exam is 3 hours.
  • Preliminary test of TS police constable is a qualifying exam, after qualifying this exam only, the candidate will be allowed to sit for physical tests and final exam.
  • There is no negative marking for wrong answers, for each correct answer you will get 1 mark.
  • Candidates should get minimum of 40% marks to get qualify in this exam. However, these qualifying marks for OBC is 35% and SC/ST/Ex-servicemen is 30%.

Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

Those who cleared, preliminary test of police constable exam will have to appear physical measurement test (PMT). Height and chest measurements will be taken for men, and height will be measured for women applicants.

Men Height must not be less than 160 cms
Chest must not be less than 80 cms with a minimum expansion of 3 cms
Women Height must not be less than 150 cms
