UKPSC 2022 Eligibility criteria: Nationality
- The competitor must be an Indian resident.
- Tibetan refugees moving to India to permanently settle here prior to 1962 may also apply. Such candidates, however, must obtain an appropriate certificate issued by the authorities.
- Competitors from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanzania who has arrived in India with the intention of permanently settling here are, on the whole, qualified. They, too, must receive a certificate of eligibility from the state government.
UKPSC 2022 Eligibility criteria: Educational Qualification
- A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a reputable university is required.
- Candidates for the post of Sahayak Nagar Niyojak must have a post-graduation diploma in Town and architect planning or associate membership in the educational institution/American institute of town/Institute of town planner or Institute of town planner (India).
- To be eligible to apply for the position of District data official/Feature author, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a discipline other than Hindi.

The UKPCS recruitment process is divided into three stages, which are as follows:- Preliminary Examination
- The Main Exam
- Interview
Candidates who pass the Preliminary Exam will be eligible solely for the Main Exam and the Interview.
The Preliminary and Main Exam Patterns are as follows:
Prelims
- Mode of Exam: Offline
- Sort of Questions: Objective Type different decision inquiries will be posted.
- Subjects: General Studies and General Aptitude
- Number of Questions: 250 (150 for General Studies and 100 for General Aptitude)
- Maximum Marks: 300 (150 for each subject)
- Length of Exam: 4 Hours (2 Hours for each subject)

1- How can I become SDM in Uttarakhand?
To become an SDM, you must have completed 12th grade and a graduation degree from a recognised university. Then you must apply for the Civil Services Exam, which is held annually by the Union Public Services. After passing the UPSC, you become an IAS officer and are assigned to a district as an SDM.
2- What is the salary of PCS officer?
The in-hand salary of a UPPSC PCS officer is ₹ 15600/- to ₹ 39100/- Level 10. with grade pay of ₹ 5400/- Range Forest Officer. ₹ 9300/- to ₹ 34800/-
3- How many attempts do you get with UKPSC?
As per the eligibility criteria, General and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category candidates have a maximum of six attempts up to 32 years of age while OBC, Defence Services Personnel and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) candidates can appear for nine-time till the age of 35.
4- Is CSAT qualifying in UKPSC?
Changes to the Uttarakhand PCS Exam Pattern, CSAT will be of qualifying nature. The suggestion was forwarded to the state government by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) in March 2018. Following Governor Dr. K K Paul's permission, the Department of Personnel issued orders to modify the C-SAT norm.
5- Is there any negative marking in UKPSC?
There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks in the UKPSC exam. The UKPSC preliminary exam is an objective type paper. There will be a total of 250 questions with 300 marks.
