UP Super TET Eligibility Criteria 2022

The candidates who wish to teach the primary (Class 1 to 5) and secondary schools (Class 6 to 8) of the private and government schools of Uttar Pradesh must be aware of UP Super TET Eligibility. They must confirm and ensure they meet the eligibility before applying for the examination. The eligibility for Super TET Exam is based on:

1. Nationality
2. Age Limit 
3. Educational Qualification
4. Number of Attempts

UP Super TET Eligibility Criteria: Nationality 

A candidate must be :

• A Citizen of India 
• A Subject of Nepal 
• A Subject of Bhutan 
• A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, to permanently settle in India 
• A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

UP Super TET Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit 

As per various notifications for TET, a candidate must have attained 21 years of age. The Upper age limit in order to apply for the examination is 40 years.  As per the official notification, candidates are provided with relaxation in the upper age limit if they belong to a category. The details related to the relaxation in age limit are as follows:
 

Category	Age Relaxation
SC/ST/OBC	Relaxation up to 5 years
PwD	Relaxation up to 15 years (Age should not be more than 55 years on the appointment date)

 

UP Super TET Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification 

The educational qualification as per the official notification varies for Primary and Upper Primary teachers. The details related to the educational qualification as per the UP Super TET Eligibility are as follows:

Posts	Details
For Primary Teachers	You must have passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks and passed 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education OR You must have passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks and possess 4 years’ Bachelors of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) Degree OR You must have passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks and have also passed in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR You must have a Graduation Degree and passed a 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education OR You must have a Graduation Degree and Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed) Degree
For Secondary Tecahers	You must have held a bachelor's degree and BTC from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).  You must have held a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks and B.Ed / B.Ed Special Education from Rehabilitation Council Of India (RCI). You must have completed Intermediate with at least 50% marks and 4 years in B.A/ B.Sc.Ed/ B.A.Ed from N.C.T.E and UGC with the recognized institute. You must have completed Intermediate with at least 50% marks and 4 years in B.El.Ed in Primary Education. You must have held a bachelor's degree with at least 45% marks and a B.Ed degree.
