WB Police SI Exam Pattern
There are four stages in the selection procedure:- Preliminary Exam
- PET/PST
- Final Competitive Exam
- Personality Test
The detailed exam pattern is as follows:
Preliminary Exam Pattern
- This is a screening test.
- A total of 200 questions are asked.
- Questions are objective in nature.
- Each question carries two marks.
- There is negative marking and 1/4 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer.
- The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.

Physical Efficiency Test:

Female candidates for the post of Lady Sub-Inspector (UB) in West Bengal Police | 400 metres run within 02 (two) minutes. |
Final Competitive Examination
There are three papers.Paper-I is set in three languages- Hindi, English, Bengali.
