The Class 12th exams are scheduled to take place from February 17 to 25, 2025, while the Class 10th exams will begin on February 1, 2025.
Candidates are advised to visit the BSEB website regularly for the latest updates and announcements. Additionally, BSEB has released model papers for both Class 10th and 12th students to aid in their exam preparations. These model papers can be downloaded from the official BSEB website.
The Class 10th exams will consist of both 80-mark and 100-mark subjects, with each exam conducted in offline mode over 3 hours and 15 minutes. Students will be given an additional 15 minutes to read the questions. The question paper will be divided into two sections:

Section A: Includes 100 objective-type questions, from which students need to answer 50. If more than 50 questions are answered, only the first 50 will be evaluated. Each correct answer earns 1 mark. Candidates must shade the appropriate circle with a blue or black pen on the OMR answer sheet.

Section B: Contains 11 descriptive questions, all of which must be answered.
To pass the Bihar board exams in 2025, students must score a minimum of 30 marks (or 33 marks in some subjects) out of 100 in each subject and maintain an overall aggregate of at least 30%.
