For example- The most famous Indian Government Scheme Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao with initial funding of Rs 100 Crores was launched on January 22, 2015, and its main motto was to save the girl child, especially targeting specific states like Bihar, Uttrakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi. With the help of this scheme, there were different easy savings facilities for daughters were launched. Moreover, it aims to make the girls independent both socially and financially and most importantly it addresses the declining CSR (Child sex ratio) in critical regions and states.

In 2022-23 the central government's effective capital spending is expected to reach Rs 10.68 lakh crore, or roughly 4.1 percent of GDP, according to the Budget. GST collections for the month of January 2022 were Rs 1,40,986 crore, according to the Finance Minister, the highest since the tax was established in 2017. Sitharaman revealed that the RBI will begin issuing digital rupees using blockchain technology in 2022-23, as part of a significant push for digital money. According to the Finance Minister, this will provide the economy with a big boost. Furthermore, the Finance Minister has introduced a slew of new Budget Schemes.

Different Category of Government Schemes:

Today all Government Schemes are classified into 3 major types. Below are the three categories under which all the government schemes are classified:

1. Centrally Sponsored Schemes:

These schemes are funded both by the Centre and State. There are currently 29 centrally sponsored schemes. These are also divided into two categories:

(a). Core of the core schemes:
There are a total of 6 schemes that come under the Core of the core schemes. These are the schemes that are for social inclusion and social protection. Also, these are the first charge on the funds available National Development Agenda. Core Schemes are generally the list of government schemes in India that focuses on the National Development agenda.
