UPSSSC officially released the notification for the Re-exam for the Village Development Officer 2023 post. The vacancies for VDO or Gram Vikas Adhikari were released in the month of May 2018. But due to some reasons, this exam is going to be taken again.

Vacancy Details for the Post of Village Development Officer
The total number of vacancies for the Gram Vikas Adhikari is 1527. Out of these, there are 841 posts for the General category, 370 posts for OBC Category, 296 for SC Category, and 20 posts for the ST Category.

Eligibility Criteria For Gram Vikas Adhikari
- Candidates must be passed with 10+2 Intermediate Exam.
- Candidates should have CCC Certificate from NIELIT.
- The Age limit must be between 18-40 years on 01/07/2018.
UPSSSC VDO SYLLABUS
This exam consists of one question paper having 300 marks. There will be three sections in the question paper each having 50-50 questions. Every question will be of two marks. So the students would be selected on the basis of 300 marks. The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
Note: There will be provision of negative marking also. On every two wrong answers, one mark will be deducted from the right one.

UPSSSC VDO RE-EXAM Notification Out
UPSSSC has released the notification for the Re-Exam of advertisement No 02 Exam/2018, Gram Vikas Adhikari. This exam is scheduled on 26/06/2023 and 27/06/2023. This exam is going to be in two shifts. I shift: from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second shift is 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. UPSSSC VDO Exam is going to happen in 20 districts of Uttar Pradesh including - Agra, Aligarh, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Banda, Bareilly, Basti, Gautambudhnagar, Ghaziabad, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur Nagar, Lucknow, Meerut, Mirzapur, Muradabad, Prayagraj, Saharanpur and Varanasi.
