Expansion of PM eVidya Scheme:

The government will expand the PM eVidya program from 12 to 200 TV channels under one class one TV program in order to impart supplementary teaching and develop a resilient education mechanism. Nirmala Sitharaman, the finance minister, announced this when presenting the union budget 2022-23 to the parliament. She also addressed the reality that schools have been closed as a result of the pandemic, and children, particularly those living in rural regions and belonging to scheduled castes and tribes, as well as other vulnerable groups, have lost two years of formal education. She has also stated that the majority of pupils affected by the pandemic attend government schools or schools that are recognized by the government.
