Ways To Join the Indian Army:
The Indian army protects our country, it is our very big army and it is always guarding our borders for our security. Whenever there is a war or conflict, they remain ahead of us for our protection and we can also join the Indian army in these two ways:
Agniveer - Agnipath Scheme is a tour of duty style scheme approved by the Government of India on 14 June 2022 and implemented in the country a few months later in September 2022. You will be hired only for 4 years. There is no pension for those who retire after 4 years of service, but they will receive a sum amount of approx ₹11-12 lakh at the end of retirement. They will serve for a full term of another 15 years.
Normal Recruitment - In this both officers and soldiers are recruited. You can apply for different posts according to your qualifications.

Age - There is a further limit of 17.5 to 21 years for both men and women or different limits for different posts in normal recruitment.

Education - 10th or 12th pass/matric pass with minimum 45% marks in aggregate and min 33% in each subject.

Physical Criteria - You must be in good health and fitness, there should not be any space between your knees. If there is space between your knees, then you will face difficulty in running and you will not be able to join the army. Your height should be a minimum of 5.2 feet, your chest should be 77 cm and your weight should be 48 kg

Medical Criteria - A candidate should have good mental health, a chest should be a minimum 5 cm expansion, the candidate should have a sufficient number of natural healthy gum and teeth minimum of 14 dental points, and should not have diseases like deformity of bones, hydrocele and varicocele or piles and soldier general duty for infantry should have 6/6 eyesight.
