Highlights

The AP TET Admit Card 2022 will be available for download starting on July 25, 2022. Look up the exam schedule and shift times for TET Papers I and II (Classes I through V) (Classes VI-VIII).

The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh State, will hold the Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET 2022) from August 6 to August 21 across all 13 Districts in Andhra Pradesh in order to hire teachers for classes I through VIII in schools run by the State Government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad Schools, Private Aided Schools, and Private unaided Schools in Andhra Pradesh State. Exam Pattern for AP TET 2022

There will be four possible answers for each Multiple Choice Question (MCQ), each worth one mark, and only one of them will be the right one. Negative marks won't be given. For the TET, there will be two papers. Paper-I will be for candidates who want to teach classes I through V, and Paper-II will be for candidates who want to teach classes VI through VIII. Anyone who wants to teach either classes I through V or classes VI through VIII must appear in both papers (Paper I and Paper II).
The examination will be bilingual (i.e). Sanskrit is the only language that wasn't picked by the applicants before English. The questions for applicants choosing Sanskrit will first be in Telugu and then in Sanskrit (Devanagari Script).

NOTE:

(i)The test questions for Child Development and Pedagogy will concentrate on Educational Psychology of teaching and learning that is pertinent to primary education. 

(ii) How to select the APTET Paper-I language: Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Odiya are the languages that are offered as First Language in the Schools under the State Syllabus. A candidate must select one of these six languages for Language-I of the TET, and that candidate must have completed at least Class X of compulsory study in that language as either a first language or a medium of instruction. Candidates who completed the CBSE/ICSE curriculum may select the Language they studied through Class

(iii)For all candidates, English will serve as Language II. 

(iv) 24 of the 30 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for Language I&II will be on content, and 6 will be on language pedagogy.

Incentive Marks for Meritorious Sports Candidates

NOTE:

(i) For Paper II-Child A's Development & Pedagogy test items, the emphasis will be on Elementary-level educational psychology of teaching and learning. For Paper II-B, the emphasis will be on Elementary-level physical education pedagogy.

(ii) Guidelines for selecting Language I on the AP-TET Papers II A and B According to the State Syllabus, the following languages are taught as First Language in secondary schools: Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, English, Kannada, Tamil, Odiya, and Sanskrit. In addition to having to select one of these eight languages for Language I of the TET, candidates must have completed at least Class X in that language, either as their first language or as their mandatory medium of instruction. Candidates who completed the CBSE/ICSE curriculum may select the Language they studied through Class Language Teachers in Pandit Training who are interested in Language-I of TET Paper II must select their language of study (A). A candidate for the position of physical education teacher must select one of the five  (5) Languages (Teugu, Urdu, Tamil, Odiya and Kannada) Under Language I of TET Paper II-B.

(iii) English is required as Language II for all applicants. 

(iv) Candidates for the Physical Education TET will receive incentive marks in one of the following three categories:

  • Participation on the international stage for India 
  • Nationally renowned medalists 
  • Winners of the All India Inter University Medal 
  • Medal winners from the All India Federation Cup 
  • medal winners at the national school games
25 Marks 
  • National Participation on behalf of the State of Andhra Pradesh Participation of All Indian Universities 
  • Inter-University Participants & Medal Winners from the South Zone 
  • Interstate participation & Medal Winners from the South Zonal 
  • playing in national school games
20 Marks 
  • Medal winners at the state level (Inter District) 
  • Gold, Silver, and Bronze medal winners from the state-level school games.
(viii)If the candidate has obtained multiple certificates at the international, national, or state levels. The highly secured certificate will be taken into consideration. Any combination of all certifications will not be taken into consideration. 

ix) Veteran Championship (Master men, Master women), Invitational, Private, and Occasional tournament participation is not taken into account. 

x) The list of contests and sports to be taken into account for the bonus points is provided in the appendix.

xi) Candidates for the State Government's Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) for Physical Education will be evaluated on the basis of Written Marks plus Incentive Marks, which will account for 20% of the total weighted marks. By restricting the total number of points to 150, 20 percent Weightage marks will be determined.

2022 AP TET Exam Locations 

The APTET 2022 will take place "ONLINE" in facilities located in several Andhra Pradesh districts including Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, and Odissa from August 6 through August 21, 2022. The candidates will be given a window to choose their DISTRICT and session from among the offered centres. Through their Candidate Login on the AP TET website, candidates can select their Exam Center.

2022 AP TET Admit Card 

The AP TET Admit Card 2022 is now available for download as of July 25, 2022. The link provided below will lead candidates to the Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test's official website, where they can download their admit cards (AP TET 2022). When contacting the Joint Director, TET of Commissioner of School Education, Anjaneya Towers, Ibrahimpatnam between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on all working days, candidates should only provide the journal number of the fee paid, the reference number of the application they submitted, a copy of the printout of the application form, and one photograph (the same photograph that was pasted on the application).
