PGCIL Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Full-time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) from a recognized university or institute with a minimum of 60% or equivalent CGPA in any of the following disciplines.
- Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering Electrical/ Power Engineering Electrical and Electronic (Electrical)
- Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics / Electronics & Communication /
- Civil Engineering.
- Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Information Technology are all terms used to describe civil computer science, computer engineering, and information technology.
- The candidate must have appeared in the GATE 2021 equivalent paper.
As of December 31, 2021, the upper age limit for Powergrid Assistant Engineer Trainee posts is 28 years. Candidates must be born on or after December 31, 1993. Reservations, relaxations, and concessions for applicants from reserved categories would be granted in accordance with Government of India directives.

- During the one-year training period, Rs.40,000/- -3 percent - 1,40,000(IDA)
- After completion of training, Rs. 50,000/- + 3% = Rs. 1,60,000/- (IDA).
PGCIL Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted for Behavioral Assessment, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview based solely on their normalized marks out of 100 in the appropriate GATE-2021 paper and as determined by the Management. Candidates would be able to choose whether to participate in the GD/interview in Hindi or English.
