Exam Pattern for Class 10 and Class 12 in the CBSE in 2022: For the current academic year 2021-2022, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has modified the test format for Class 10 and Class 12 students and established a new assessment scheme. The entire academic year will be divided into two terms under the new CBSE Exam Pattern, and the Board will conduct two exams, one at the end of each term. According to the CBSE Exam Pattern, each term exam will cover 50% of the entire syllabus for both Class 10 and Class 12. The CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Term 2 exams are expected to be held in March or April 2022. If the COVID-19 prevails, the exam would be 2 hours long and comprise case-based/situation-based, open-ended-short answer/long answer type questions, according to the new CBSE Exam Pattern. If the situation does not allow for a traditional descriptive test, a 90-minute MCQ-based exam will be held at the end of Term II. The board examinations for CBSE Class 10 and 12 began on April 26, 2022. This article will be updated with information on the new test pattern if CBSE reveals more details about the CBSE Class 10 and 12 exam pattern for 2022.
