General Instructions:
The total Theory Examinations will be of 80 marks and 20 marks weightage shall be for Internal Assessment.
Internal Assessment - Maximum Marks 10 for each Term:
- There will be a Periodic Assessment that would include: •The school will administer three periodic tests throughout the entire course. The average of the top two periodic tests or marks from those tests must be taken into account.
- A variety of evaluation techniques can be used depending on the dynamics of the class and the curriculum. Short examinations, oral exams, quizzes, concept maps, projects, posters, presentations, inquiry-based scientific research, etc. may all fall under this category.
Subject Enrichment in the form of Practical/Laboratory work should be done throughout the year and the student should maintain a record of the same. Practical Assessments should be continuous. All practicals listed in the syllabus must be completed. c. Portfolio to be prepared by the student- This would include class work and another sample of student work.
