IGKO Exam Date 2022-2023, Know Important dates and Guidelines for the Exam Day

IGKO Exam 2022-2023: The IGKO Exam 2022 has been decided to be held on 15 September and 11 October 2022. The registered schools can choose the exam date according to their convenience. Candidates from Classes 1-10 are eligible for the International general knowledge Olympiad (IGKO). However, they should be from recognized educational boards like CBSE, ICSE, and other state boards. Schools need to send the registration forms to the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) a month before the exam dates. It is a single-level exam that takes place worldwide. This Olympiad exam aims to identify, celebrate, and promote students' knowledge of General knowledge, English, Maths, and Current Affairs. The only Eligibility Criteria required for the International General knowledge Olympiad is the candidate should be from Classes 1-10. Other than this, there is no requirement demanded by IGKO Exam.

IGKO 2022-2023 Registration 

The information related to the registration for the International General knowledge Olympiad is discussed below.

• Candidates should register themselves for the IGKO Exam through their schools.
• The schools must register themselves with the organizing body viz Science Olympiad foundation. If your school is already a part of SOF, it’s OK. However, if not, the schools can do it by mailing or making a phone call.
• The SOF sends all the brochures and application forms to the enrolled schools.
• Each student has to submit a registration fee of Rs 125. Schools may charge an extra amount of Rs 25 for the remuneration of teachers for guidance and other expenses.
• After collecting all the application forms, the schools must send them to the office of the Science Olympiad foundation before the registration date ends.

As per the guidelines of SOF, specially-abled candidates or candidates whose parents were soldiers and died in a military operation are exempted from the registration fee.

Guidelines for the Examination Day

Here are some of the rules and regulations candidates must keep in mind on the day of IGKO Exam day-

• Candidates must carry their admit cards with them on exam day. The admit card must be given to the applicants from their respective schools.
• We recommend carrying at least two copies of admit cards so that if a candidate misses one copy, he or she may use the second one. 
• Without admit card, the candidates will not be able to appear in the examination.
• Students should enter the examination hall 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
• After 10 to 15 minutes, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall.
•  No additional time will be given to any student.
•  Students are not allowed to leave the examination hall before the exam ends.

The IGKO Exam results in 2022-2023 will be declared after 8 weeks of the exam.
