INMO Eligibility Criteria 2022: INMO 2022-2023 Eligibility Criteria demands that the students qualify for the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) to be eligible for the Indian National Mathematical olympiad. Moreover, the candidates should be studying from recognized educational boards like CBSE, ICSE, and other state boards. INMO exam syllabus includes the Mathematics curriculum for Classes 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. Important topics from the syllabus are Algebra, Number Theory, Geometry, and Permutations and Combinations. A large number of students participate in this Olympiad every year. Around 900 students qualify for the Regional Mathematical Olympiad RMO Exam. However, only 35 students are selected for the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO). These students are offered Training from the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) for preparation for the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). INMO 2022-2023 Eligibility Criteria 

To appear in the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad, candidates should first qualify for the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO). Other than this, there are some other requirements needed for students in order to write the INMO exam.

INMO Exam: Important Points

• Candidates should be of 28 years before they fill out the INMO application form.
• Candidates selected for the Indian National Mathematical olympiad are selected on the basis of their Performance in the second phase of the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), i.e., Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO). 
• A maximum of 28 students from classes 8, 9, 10, and 11, and 6 students from Class 12 are selected for the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO).  
• When there is a tie between two or more candidates in the INMO exam, the results of the Pre-Regional Mathematical olympiad are considered a tie-breaker. When the scores of Pre RMO are found to be the same, the final list handed over to the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) will be considered.
• Five additional girls are selected from classes 8, 9, 10, and 11 for this Olympiad exam, excluding the selected candidates from each area.
• A maximum of five candidates from Kendriya Vidhayala schools and a minimum of five candidates from non-Kendriya Vidhayala schools (CBSE) may be preferred to appear in the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO). The selection is done by authorities of Kendriya Vidhayala (KV) and the Central board of secondary education (CBSE).  
• Around 900 candidates cleared the Regional Mathematical Olympiad RMO Exam. Only 35 students are selected after the Indian National Mathematical olympiad INMO exam and are sent to the training centers of Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) for further preparation for the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) program.

After various tests in the training Centre, 6 candidates are selected to represent India on an international forum in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).
