INMO Exam Result 2022-2023, Here are the Steps to Check your Results

INMO 2022-2023 Exam Results: INMO 2022-2023 Exam Results will be declared after the INMO exam is held. The abbreviation INMO stands for Indian National Mathematical Olympiad. It is the third phase of the International Mathematical Olympiad program conducted by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) on the behalf of National Board of Higher Mathematics (NBHM). The first INMO Exam took place in 1989. After this year, this Olympiad exam takes place every year. Candidates who qualify for the Regional Mathematical Olympiad exam become eligible for the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO). They should be from a recognized educational board like CBSE, ICSE, and other state boards. 35 students are selected from INMO Exam for the next phase of IMO. Here students are trained at the International Mathematical Olympiad Training Centre (IMOTC). After various tests in the training camp, 6 students are selected for the International Mathematical Olympiad to represent India on an international forum.

• Click on the link to get the Merit Awardees.
• The Candidates can enter their roll number and check their respective results.

INMO Exam Pattern 2022-2023

There are six descriptive mathematical questions in the INMO exam. These questions are tougher than the Regional Mathematical Olympiad exam questions. Although the syllabus for Mathematical Olympiad remains the same for every stage, the level of difficulty increases with the increase in the phase. 

Candidates are expected to attempt all the questions and submit their answer sheet along with the rough sheet. INMO exam goes on for four hours and is held in pen and paper mode.
 

INMO 2022 Syllabus 

INMO Syllabus includes the Mathematics syllabus for Classes 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. The syllabus for Mathematical Olympiad remains the same for all stages of the Mathematical Olympiad.  However, the level of difficulty increases with the increase in stages of the IMO program.

The INMO syllabus includes the following topics-

• System of linear equations
• Arithmetic of integers
• Probability theory
• Elementary graph theory
• Inequalities
• Trigonometry
• Factorization of Polynomials
• Trigonometry
• Finite series and complex numbers
• Quadratic equations and expressions 

Important topics among them are as follows-

• Algebra 
• Coordinate Geometry 
• Geometry 
• Number Theory
• Permutations and Combinations
