- The window for mahaDBT Scholarship Renewal for the academic year 2022-23 is open till June 2023.
- The re-application for the mahaDBT scholarship for the academic year 2022-23 has been extended till June 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Scheme
- Applicant must be a inhabitant of Maharashtra
- Must reside in Maharashtra State border or Karnataka State border
- Annual income of family shouldn’t exceed 8 Lakhs
- Applicant must be pursuing a course accredited by AICTE
- Candidate must not be a scholarship holder for any other scheme
- Student must have passed Class 11 and 12
- Must have DHE sanctioned letter
- Students belonging to Maharashtra but continuing studies outside the state are not eligible

- Candidates must have taken college admission through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP)
- The student should be pursuing a Technical or Professional course and must hold a “Bonafide Student of Institute” certificate
MahaDBT: VJNT, OBC & SBC Welfare Department Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria for MahaDBT Post Matric Scholarship for VJNT Students
- Students belonging to VJNT, OBC, and SBC categories can apply
- The candidate must be pursuing a course accredited by Maharashtra state.
- The annual income of the family shouldn’t go beyond 1 Lakh
- Applicants must take admission in courses through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP)
- There must be a minimum of 75% attendance in the current academic year
- The applicant must be from the VJNT category
- Must be an inhabitant of Maharashtra
- The annual income of the family shouldn’t go beyond 8 Lakh
- Applicant must be pursuing a course in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, and Fisheries or Health
- Science-related courses.
- Must be registered in funded or non-funded government colleges in technical learning
- Applicant must belong to VJNT and SBC category
- Must be pursuing professional courses such as Engineering, Medical, Veterinary, Architecture, etc
- The annual income of the family shouldn’t exceed 1 Lakh
- The candidate should enroll in a professional college only. Those studying in government colleges are not eligible for this scheme.
- Candidate must belong to Vimukta Jatis, Nomadic Tribes, and Special Backward Classes
- Must be in Class 11 or Class 12
- Must not have skipped education
- Applicable for OBC category students only
- Must be pursuing a course accredited by the Maharashtra state government.
- Must take admission through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP)

- Must be pursuing a course that is accredited by the government.

Eligibility Criteria for MahaDBT Open Merit Scholarships in Junior College
- Applicant must be in Class 11 or Class 12
- Must be scored at least 60% in SSC exams
- Applicant must have got at least 50% in SSC exams
- Must have passed the board exam in one attempt
MahaDBT: Directorate Of Medical Education and Research (DMER) Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria for MahaDBT State Minority Scholarship Part II (DHE)
- Applicant must be an undergrad or Postgrad from Arts/Commerce/Science/Law/Education courses
- Must be a resident of Maharashtra
- The annual income of a family should not go beyond 8 Lakhs
- Students belonging to Maharashtra but continuing studies outside the state are not eligible
- Must be an Indian and belong to Maharashtra State

- The attendance in the course must be at least 50%
- Must have enrolled in college through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP)
- Must be pursuing a Technical or Professional course and possess a “Bonafide Student of Institute” certificate

- Must be a medical student in the college affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik

MahaDBT: Application Process
At the time of the 2018-19 Academic Session, possession of an Aadhaar number is a mandatory requirement to apply for a scholarship program through the portal. Before filling out the scholarship application, we recommend you read the instructions carefully and be familiar with all the requirements. To apply for a scholarship on the Aaple Sarkar DBT portal, follow these steps-
- Step 1: Applicants must first access the home page of the AapleSarkar DBT portal.
- Step 2: Click on the scholarship you want to apply for – click on “Post-Enrollment Scholarship” and then “Register New Applicant” to register.
- Step 3: Enter the required information and register.
- Step 4: Applicants need to verify their email ID and mobile number to complete the registration. Click "Get OTP" to confirm your email ID, or click "Get OTP" to confirm your mobile phone number.
- Note: Confirmation of both email ID and mobile phone number is mandatory.
- Step 5: After successful registration, log in using your registered email ID and password.
- Step 6: After successfully logging in, enter your Aadhaar number information to continue.
- Step 7: Applicant needs to authenticate Aadhaar number. Two types of authentication are possible.
- OTP – If the applicant's mobile number is registered with Aadhaar, you can select the authentication type OTP. Biometrics-If your mobile number is not registered with Aadhaar, you can select the authentication type as biometrics.
- Step 8: Enter the Aadhaar number and click the [Send OTP] button. The system validates the Aadhaar number and sends the system-generated "OTP" to the registered mobile phone number. Fill out the OTP and choose the [OK] button. If the OTP verification is successful, the applicant details obtained from UIDAI will be automatically inserted into personal information, address details, bank details, etc.
- Step 9: The applicant can now see the dashboard listing the available scholarships.
- Step 10: Select the scholarship you want to apply for and click the Apply button to start a new application.
- Step 11: Complete the profile by providing all the information you need.
- Step 12: After the profile is updated, applicants can search the mahaDBT portal under the heading "All Programs" under the scholarship department they want to apply for.
- Step 13: A list of proposed scholarship programs is displayed. Select the scholarship you want to apply for.
- Step 14: The application form is displayed. Enter all the required details and upload all support documents (if not already uploaded).
- Step 15: Finally, submit the application.

MahaDBT Registration Online
- Step 1: Go to the official website of Maharashtra MahaDBT portal-mahadbtmahait.gov.in.
- Step 2: You will see a new homepage on your screen. Click ‘Post Matric Scholarship’ from the right side of the screen.
- Step 3: Click on the ‘New Applicant Registration’ Option.
- Step 4: A new page will be displayed on your screen. Fill up your name, Username, Password, Email ID, and Mobile number.
- Step 5: Select 'Get OTP for Email ID and Mobile Number Verification'.
- Step 6: You will get the OTP to your Email account and Mobile Number. Now, fill in the OTP you got in the box titled ‘Enter OTP for the Email account and Mobile Number'.
- Step 7: Click on the Register Option.
- Step 8: You will get the Login details to your Email account and mobile number. Ensure thate you keep them safe for future reference.
MahaDBT Login
- Step 1: Click on the ‘ Applicant Login’ Link.
- Step 2: Fill out your User name.
- Step 3: Fill in your password and enter the Captcha.
- Step 4: Select the ‘Login Here’ option.
MahaDBT Profile Creation
- Step 1: Enter your Personal details asked.
- Step 2: Fill in your address.
- Step 3: Enter other details like Father’s name, Mother’s name, and their work.
- Step 4: Enter your current program course in the needed fields.
- Step 5: Fill in your past qualifications, stream, and the institution you pursued that course.
- Step 6: Select ‘Hostel Details’ and choose the option if you are a Day Scholar or Hosteler.
- Step 7: Select the ‘Save’ option.
MahaDBT Username Reset
- Step 1: Visit the official website of the MahaDBT portal.
- Step 2: Click on the ‘Applicant login option’ from the drop-down menu.
- Step 3: Enter your personal details like your name, mobile number, and Date of Birth.
- Step 4: Click on ‘Get Username’ from the drop-down menu. A pop-up window will appear on the screen. It will ensure that your username has been successfully delivered to your registered contact number.
- Step 5: You will receive an SMS to your registered mobile number assuring you that your username has been delivered.
MahaDBT Username Password
- Step 1: Visit the official website of the MahaDBT portal.
- Step 2: Click on the ‘Applicant login option’ from the drop-down menu.
- Step 3: Select the ‘Forget the Password’ Link from the login screen.
- Step 4: Fill in your login details.
- Step 5: You will see a pop-up on your screen telling you that your OTP is successfully delivered to your registered mobile number.
- Step 6: Click the OK option on the pop-up window.
- Step 7: Type your one-time password in the space below the username. You will see a new page on your screen.
- Step 8: Use the ‘Change password Option’ to make changes or reset your password.
- Step 9: Enter your old and new passwords and confirm the new password
- Step 10: At the end, select the ‘Change password’ option from the drop-down menu. Your password will be successfully reset.
MahaDBT Apply Online Scheme
- Step 1: You will see a list of recommended scholarship programs. Take an overview of those schemes.
- Step 2: Choose the program you want to prefer.
- Step 3: Select the ‘Apply for Scheme’ option, and you will be successfully redirected to a new page.
- Step 4: Upload all the required documents.
- Step 5: At the end, Select ‘Submit’ once you fill out the application. The authorized people will update your MahaDBT Status.
