NCO Eligibility Criteria 2022-2023
The exam is held annually by SOF, so the NCO Eligibility Criteria are also decided by the SOF. The parameters are as follows-- Students from class 1st -10th can become a participant in National Cyber Olympiad (NCO).
- The school must be registered with SOF. However, if it is not registered, your school can request to get registered by mailing or making a phone call.
- The candidates are likely to opt for Computer and IT, as these are mandatory subjects.
- Students from CBSE, ICSE, and state board schools are eligible to take part in the National Cyber Olympiad (NCO).
- The exam is held in English language.
What is NCO?
National Cyber Olympiad (NCO) aims to improve the cyber security in India. All the data, networks and all other useful information should be preserved from unauthorized access, destruction, or tampering by cybersecurity.
How can I register myself for the NCO?
- A minimum of 10 students are required for any school to participate in the NCO.
- The fee for registration in the NCO exam is INR 125, including GST. The students having any disability or whose parents lost their lives in Defense are exempted from the fees.
- The school can charge Rs. 25 extra for meeting other expenses related to the NCO Exam.
