Pre RMO Exam 2022-2023 Eligibility Criteria: Pre RMO is the abbreviation for the Pre-regional Mathematical olympiad. It is the foremost phase of the International Mathematical olympiad. There are six stages in the exam, the second being the Regional Mathematical Olympiad. It aims at boosting the maths skills of growing children. The olympiad is open to students studying from Classes 8-12. Interested candidates can register themselves through their schools for the exam. They need to submit the registration fee, along with filling out the registration form. However, aspirants should fulfill the Pre RMO 2022-2023 Eligibility Criteria for the same. Due to safety precautions of Covid 19, the Pre-regional Mathematical olympiad has been postponed this year. From 2021, the first stage, Pre RMO, and second state RMO have been combined and named as Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) to prevent time and reduce the possibility of Covid-19 spread. The exam is conducted by the Mathematics Teachers' Association (MTA).

Pre RMO 2022-202 Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility Criteria for the Pre regional Mathematical olympiad have been set by the National Board of Higher Mathematics (NBHM). These standards must be fulfilled by the candidates aiming to appear in the Pre RMO exam and include the following-- Applicant must be born on or before August 1, 2001, to be eligible for PRMO.
- Students studying from Classes 8-12 can apply for this olympiad exam.
- Only Indian students are eligible for the Pre RMO exam. However, students holding Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) cards can also appear in all stages of this olympiad exam, except the last one, the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).
- Students must ensure that they meet all the norms for the Pre-regional Mathematical olympiad. No exception or advantages will be given to any student in any case.

Once the aspirants know that they fulfill the eligibility Criteria for the Olympiad exam, they can proceed to Pre RMO Registration. Students can visit the official website of the Mathematics Teachers' Association (MTA) and register themselves for the exam.
