Assam TET Exam 2019 Introduction
Assam TET or Assam Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan (RMSA) at various centres in Assam State. The common entrance test is conducted as a part of the implementation of the Right to Education Act 2009, Department of Elementary Education, Government of Assam. The exam is conducted for appointment of Shiksha Mitras (SM) and Additional Shiksha Mitras (ADM) in Assam. The candidates willing to be a teacher in Lower Primary and Upper Primary Schools of Assam, need to clear the Assam TET Exam.

Assam TET Exam Pattern 2019
Assam TET Exam includes two stages i.e. Written Exam and Personal Interview.

Eligibility Criteria Assam TET Exam 2019
Candidates must fall under the eligibility criteria to appear for the Assam TET Exam 2019
- Candidate must have passed Intermediate exam with at least 50% marks.
- must have a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with NCTE with at least 45% marks. Or
- Senior secondary or equivalent with 50% marks with; 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. Ed) or 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Graduation from any UGC recognized university and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Minimum age to apply for the exam is 18 years and maximum age is 43 years. All reserved category candidates will get 05 years of age relaxation in upper age limit.
How to Apply Assam TET Exam 2019
The candidates can apply for the Test from the official website once the notification will be released and the link will be activated. Candidates can easily apply for the Test by going through the below mentioned steps:
- Begin by visiting the official website of RMSA.
- Click on Assam TET Notification 2019 link in the notification tab.
- Now click on the 'Apply Online' link to proceed.
- Fill the application form with your basic details and educational qualification.
- Upload your scanned passport size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Pay the Application Fee.
- Click on the Submit tab to finally submit your application.
- Take a printout of your completely filled form for future reference.
Admit Card Assam TET Exam 2019
RMSA will release the Admit Card of the TET Exam one or two weeks prior to the written exam on its official website. Separate admit cards will be released for both written and interview round. The link to download admit card will be made available on safalta education portal as well.
Result Assam TET Exam 2019
After the evaluation of written exam, RMSA will release the list of qualified candidates on the official website. The candidates will be allowed to visit the official website to download the pdf file and check the Assam TET Result 2019.
