The Aarogya Setu App can be downloaded from your Smartphone’s application platform.
Below are the steps to download the App:

Download the App:
Always ensure that you are downloading the official app.
Check the app through its Logo, app description, reviews, etc.
You can search the app by typing its name or going directly through the official links.
The direct link has been Tweeted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Moreover, Android users can download it through Play Store and iOS users can download it from the Apple Store Store.

Set-up:
After the installation of the app now it’s time for setting up the app.
At first, you have to select your preferred language.
There is an option of twelve languages.
You have to choose the language in which you are comfortable.
You will get a notification if you have come 6 feet near a COVID-positive person.
For this, you need to switch on the Bluetooth and location and set the Location Sharing to ‘Always’, and then click on ‘Register Now.
Then enter your mobile number and go through all the terms and conditions.
Click on the ‘I Agree’ option.

Information Sharing:
Fill in all the required information such as Name, Gender, Age, and Profession.
The app will ask you if you had recently traveled out of India in the last 30 days.
It will ask if you are interested in volunteering.
You can now proceed to Self-assessment Test.
4.
Take the Test:
Now, it is time to take a COVID-19 self-assessment test.
It will hardly take 20 seconds to complete.
It will ask if you have any symptoms like fever, cough, etc.
Also, it will ask you if you have any pre-existing diseases like heart issues, diabetes, etc.
Answer all the questions.
5, Result with Recommendations:
On the basis of your answers, the test will give the result as Low Risk (Green), Moderate Risk (Orange), or High Risk (Red).
If the result is low risk, it will suggest that you are safe.

To make things easier, your phone will detect other Smartphone users who have downloaded the App. If any of those people test positive for COVID-19, this app will notify you of the risks.
For example, suppose you met or were near Mr. X (a stranger) in a public place a few days ago. Mr. X tests positive for COVID-19 a few days later. Assuming you and Mr. X both had and have the Aarogya Setu App, the authorities will track Mr. X's movements over the last 14 days and notify anyone (including you) who was in his vicinity. Such individuals will be notified and advised on the next steps, which include self-isolation and testing at a nearby COVID-19 test center.
