Allahabad High Court RO and ARO Eligibility Criteria: Nationality

A candidate should be 
  • A citizen of India, OR
  • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1972, with the intention of permanently settling in India, OR
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Ceylon and East African Countries of Tanzania (formerly Tanganayika and Zanzibar) with the intention of permanently settling in India
Candidates other than citizens of India who are applying for the recruitment should have an eligibility certificate issued by the state government.
 

Allahabad High Court RO and ARO Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

Candidates applying for the recruitment should have attained the age of 21 years and should not have attained age more than 35 years to be eligible for the recruitment. The candidate should not be born before 2nd July, 1986 and not born after 1st July, 2000. There are age relaxation provided to the candidates. The details of the age relaxation are as follows:
  • The upper age limit shall be relaxable up to a maximum limit of 05 years only for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe(ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Dependents of Freedom Fighter (D.F.F.) as notified in relation to the State of Uttar Pardesh.
  • The upper age limit shall be relaxable up to a maximum limit of 05 years only to the skilled sports person of the State of Uttar Pradesh for the event as specified/prescribed in Rule 23 A of The Allahabad High Court Officers and Staff (Conditions of Service and Conduct) Rules, 1976.
  • The upper age limit for Ex Servicemen (E.S.M) of State of Uttar Pardesh shall be relaxable by 03 years after deduction of the military service rendered in Army/Air Force/Navy. ExServicemen (E.S.M) candidates shall have to mention their enrollment/appointment date and retirement/discharged date of the Service in view to calculate resultant age.
  • The upper age limit shall be relaxable up to a maximum limit of 15 years only for the candidates belonging to physically handicapped (P.H.) category of the State of Uttar Pardesh.
 

Allahabad High Court RO and ARO Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification

The educational qualifications for the posts are as follows:
Review Officer 1. Bachelor’s Degree of a University established by law in India, Or A Qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
And
2. Diploma/Degree in Computer Science from a recognized Institution / University established by Law in India, Or 'O' Level Certificate awarded by NIELET/DOEACC Society, Or ‘CCC’ Certificate in Computer Science from recognized institute established by law in India.
And
3. Minimum Typing Speed of 25 Words per minute in English Typing on Computer.
Assistant Review Officer 1. Bachelor’s Degree of a University established by law in India, Or A Qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
And
2. Diploma/Degree in Computer Science from a recognized Institution / University established by Law in India, Or 'O' Level Certificate awarded by NIELET/DOEACC Society, Or ‘CCC’ Certificate in Computer Science from recognized institute established by law in India.
And
3. Minimum Typing Speed of 25 Words per minute in English Typing on Computer.
 

Allahabad High Court RO and ARO Eligibility Criteria: Marital Status

A male candidate who has more than one wife living or a female candidate who has married a person already having a wife living shall not be eligible for recruitment to the Establishment.

The character of a person for direct recruitment to the service in the opinion of the Appointing Authority must be such so as to render him suitable in all respect for appointment to the service. The opinion of the Appointing Authority in this regard shall be final.

No person shall be recruited to the Establishment unless he/she be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect, likely to interfere with the efficient performance of his/her official duties.
