BSSC CGL Eligibility - Nationality
As per the official notification, a candidate must be
- A Citizen Of India (or)
- A Citizen Of Nepal (or)
- A Citizen Of Bhutan (or)
- A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
BSSC CGL Eligibility- Age Limit
The candidates must make sure they are within the age bracket for the exam. The official notification declared the desirable age limit for the exam. There are relaxations in the age limit for various categories as per the rules of the state government. The candidates must be in the age bracket of 21 to 30 years. Age will be calculated from August 1, 2021. The relaxation in the age limit are as follows:

BSSC CGL Eligibility- Educational Qualification
As the name suggests this is a graduate-level examination. i.e. The candidates must possess a graduation degree in order to be eligible for the exam. AS per the official notification the educational qualification is as follows:
Candidates must have graduated from any recognized university in India.

There is no bar on the number of attempts if the candidate meets the above-mentioned criteria.
