What is CAPF AC Exam: CAPF AC 2020 is an exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) every year for the post of Assistant Commandant in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). Assistant Commandant rank is equivalent to the ranks of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Captain in the Indian Army. This rank is a Group-A gazetted officer rank in the Central Armed Police Forces. The Candidates recruited through this exam, join the below mentioned forces as Assistant Commandant.

UPSC CAPF 2020: Application Process
As per the UPSC CAPF 2020 notification candidates can apply online from 18th August to 7th September 2020. You can apply at upsconline.nic.in, and fill your form easily by below mentioned process
Application fee:
The application fee is Rs. 200 for unreserved category and SC/ST/female candidates are exempted from fee payment.

Age limit
Both Men and Women aspirants can apply for the post of Assistant Commandant. To apply candidate should not be born earlier than 2nd August 1995 and not later than 1st August 2000. Min age is for applying is 20 years and Max is 25 years (as of 1st August 2020)
Upper Age Relaxation
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have a bachelor degree in any stream from a university recognized by Govt. Of India.
Physical Standards: Candidates must be in good health mentally and physically as well. They must not have any kind of physical deformity or disease. The minimum physical standard prescribed by UPSC CAPF 2020 notification is given below.
UPSC CAPF (AC) 2020 Selection Process
The selection process for recruitment of candidates in the Central Armed Police Force is a 4 phased process:
Written Exam: This exam involves two papers i.e. Paper I and Paper II. Candidates need to qualify this phase by obtaining marks higher than Cut Off Marks to get shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Tests & Medical Standards Tests.
Physical Efficiency Tests & Medical Standards Tests: The Physical and Medical Standards tests are different for males and females. Candidates need to qualify this stage to appear for Interview round.
Interview or Personality Test: Candidates who will qualify the Physical & Medical tests will be called for a face to face Interview.
Final Merit List: UPSC prepares the final merit list on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the Written Exam and in the Interview Test.

UPSC CAPF 2020: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates who clear written exam is called for the Physical Efficiency Test. In this stage, Physical efficiency and medical fitness of the candidate is tested. This stage is qualifying in nature. Candidate must meet below mentioned standards set by UPSC for CAPF 2020
UPSC CAPF 2020: Personality Test
Candidates who clear PET are called for a Personality Test. The UPSC CAPF 2020 exam is conducted for 150 marks which plays a vital role in the final selection. The interview is conducted by 4 member interview panel and questions are mainly asked from the Detailed Application Form (DAF) filled by the candidates.
UPSC CAPF 2020:Result
After the completion of the Personality Test, UPSC will release results on their official website upsc.gov.in. The candidate can check the result by their UPSC roll no. The result will be announced in the second quarter of 2021 (tentative). After the declaration of results, merit list will be published and candidates will get their armed forces, according to their rank in the merit list.
