CISF Constable (Tradesman) 2022 : Selection Process 


The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) will accept applications for the post of CISF Constable(Tradesman) 2022, which is solely open to male applicants. Candidates who have applied for this position will be required to take a series of tests in order to pass the full selection process. Height Bar Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Documentation, Trade Test, and Written Test are some of the examinations available.
 

Stage I: Height Bar Test (HBT) 

Male candidates must pass the height bar test, which is usually approximately 170 cm, in order to progress to the following round/stage, the PET. This is the first round, which has no points and is just for the purpose of qualifying.

Stage II: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 

Candidates who pass the height bar test will be put through a 1.6-kilometer race that must be completed in 6 minutes and 30 seconds. 

Note that this test will only serve as a qualification. Candidates who do not qualify for the race will be removed from the recruiting process and given a rejection slip from the Presiding Officer with the reasons for their rejection. They will not be allowed to continue in the recruitment process. You will advance to the third stage if you complete the second round successfully.

Stage III: Physical Standard Test (PST)

The chest and height measurements of various groups, including scheduled castes and scheduled tribes, are included in the Physical Standards for CISF Constable Tradesman Post. The table also discusses applicants from other locations such as Assam, Himachal Pradesh, and Kashmir, as well as the standards that must be met by unreserved categories and other tribes.

Stage IV: Documentation Process 


The documents of candidates who have successfully completed the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be scrutinised. Candidates who fail to submit original testimonials/certificates will be removed from the recruitment process by the Presiding Officer, who will issue a rejection note with reasons. No candidates will be admitted provisionally. The following are the documents that must be submitted:
 

(i)(Educational certificates. (10th/12th class certificates)

(ii) Date of birth(DOB) certificates. (Matriculation or 10th pass certificate).

(iii) Domicile certificates would have been issued by the competent revenue authorities for proving their domiciliary status.

(iv) SC/ST, OBC, and EWS Certificates, if it is applicable. Caste certificates should be in a certain prescribed manner as given in the CISF Constable 2022 official notification or else it shall not be accepted.

(v) Caste certificates of the candidates shall only be considered if they have been issued from the domicile State of the candidate, i.e. both certificates (Caste & Domicile) should both be issued from the same State.

(vi) Candidates who fall in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas & candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir as well as Leh & Ladakh regions of J&K(Jammu & Kashmir) who request for relaxation in the height & chest measurements should produce certificates in the certain prescribed format as per the official notice. 

(vii) A discharge certificate is required as per rules in the case of Ex-servicemen.

(viii) No objection Certificate shall be required in case of people who are serving in Govt./Semi-Govt. Departments from their Head of Office. 

(ix) In the case of wards who are serving the CISF personnel, who are applying from a certain State other than their Home State, certificates have to be submitted by them. 

(x) Four recent passport size photographs of the candidates are required. 

(xi) Identification Certificates in case of WPRs (West Pakistani Refugees) who are residing in the State of J&K (Jammu & Kashmir) is a requirement.

(xii) Domicile certificates for all those who had ordinarily resided in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01.01.1980 up to 31.12.1989 in case of age relaxation.

(xiii) The applicant should be carrying an identity proof such as Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Identity Card as issued by the University/College, Income Tax/Pan Card in original which he/she shall have mentioned in his/her application form.

(xiv) Identification of the candidates shall be checked by a board of officers at the time of PET / PST /Documentation as well as Trade Test, Written Examination and Medical Examination via Identity Cards as produced by the candidate. Biometric data (fingerprint) shall be captured at the very first stage of recruitment(Height test)for the purpose of verification. It shall be used in further stages of recruitment.

 

Stage V: Trade Test(Qualifying in Nature)


Those who pass the Height Bar Test (HBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and a thorough documentation process will be subjected to the trade test, which is specific to each position. To make things easier for you, we've broken out the chores for each post below.

  1. The cooking of Chapati and Rice
  2. Cooking of vegetables/ Dal/ Sambar or Idli for around 100 men
  3. The cooking of non-veg items like Meat/ Fish/ Egg as well as sweet dishes like Kheer
(B) BOOTMAKER/ COBBLER
  1. Shoe-polishing
  2. Handling of tools
  3. Cutting of leather repair as well as the .stitching of shoes
(C) BARBER
  1. Handing tools in the barbershop(Razor, comb, duster brush, etc.)
  2. Proper Hair Cutting
  3. Good sense of shaving
(D) WASHER MAN
  1. Good at washing clothes
  2. Ironing of Khaki Cotton Uniforms
  3. Ironing of woollen or terry cotton uniforms
(E) CARPENTER
  1. Handling of tools (Claw hammer, chisel, screwdriver) 
  2. Proper cutting of wood
  3. Fitting, polishing as well finishing of material
(F) SWEEPER
  1. Sweeping of floors
  2. Proper Cleaning of toilets
  3. Good Cleaning of bathrooms etc
(G)PAINTER
  1. Good Knowledge of colors, paints & various shades(light, dark, etc)
  2. Nice Painting of sign-boards
  3. Painting/drawing skills should be apt
(H) MASON
  1. Masonry/Construction work 
  2. Good Plastering work
  3. Laying down of floor tiles as well as proper plastering floor work
(I) PLUMBER
  1. Laying of pipelines
  2. Proper Repairing of water pipelines
  3. Fitting of Taps, Geyser, Flush as well as Wash Basins
(J)MALI (Gardener) 
  1. Plantations & making of grafts.
  2. Maintenance of various plants. (Easter Lily, Elm, English Ivy etc.) 
  3. Knowledge of seeds & their sowing season as well as fertilizers.
  4. Knowledge of indigenous manures. (green, farmyard, compost, etc.) 
(K) ELECTRICIAN
  1. Good knowledge of AC/DC current
  2. New Electric Fitting skills
  3. Rectification of any kind of electric faults
 

Stage VI: Written Exam 2022


Candidates who pass the PET/PST, Documentation Process, and Trade Test will be called to participate for a written examination. To do well on the test, you need be familiar with the written examination pattern. 
  • The written exam will be worth 100 points and will consist of 100 questions. Only OMR-based objective type multiple choice questions with a Blue/Black ball pen will be included.
  • The question paper will be written in both Hindi and English and will assess the candidate's understanding of general awareness, general knowledge, elementary mathematics, and analytical aptitude. Candidates' ability to perceive and discern patterns, as well as their basic knowledge of Hindi and English, are put to the test. 
  • The cut-off marks for the written exam will be 35 percent for General Category and Ex-Servicemen candidates, and roughly 33 percent for SC/ST/OBC category candidates. 
  • The written test will last approximately 2 hours or 120 minutes.
