CISF Constable(Tradesman) 2022 Exam Pattern
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Documentation Process, and a Trade Test are all part of the CISF Constable 2022 Selection Process. Candidates who pass all of these tests will advance to the Written Examination.
STAGE 1 : The height bar test (HBT)
The height bar test is the first stage; male applicants who want to pass the height bar test must be roughly 170 cm tall in order to go to the next round/stage, which is the PET.
This is the first round, which is just for the purpose of qualification and does not carry any marks.
STAGE 2: Physical Efficiency Test for BSF Constable Traders (PET)
Those who pass the height bar test will move on to Stage II, the physical efficiency test, which consists of a 1.6-kilometer race that must be completed in under 6 minutes and 30 seconds.
STAGE 3: Physical Standard Test for CISF Constable Tradesman (PST)
The chest and height dimensions are vary for different categories of the CISF Constable Tradesman Post.
As an illustration: The recommended height for Adivasis from all states and union territories, including the Nagas and Mizos, is 162.5 cm, with chest dimensions ranging from 76 to 81 centimetres.

STAGE 4 : Process of Documentation
The documents of candidates who have passed the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be thoroughly scrutinised.
It includes documents such as educational credentials, birth certificates, and domicile certificates, among others, without which candidates will be rejected from the recruiting process and receive a rejection slip.
- Educational certificates. (10th/12th class certificates)
- Date of birth(DOB) certificates. (Matriculation or 10th pass certificate).
- Domicile certificates would have been issued by the competent revenue authorities for proving their domiciliary status.
- SC/ST, OBC, and EWS Certificates, if it is applicable. Caste certificates should be in a certain prescribed manner as given in the CISF Constable 2022 official notification or else it shall not be accepted.
- Caste certificates of the candidates shall only be considered if they have been issued from the domicile State of the candidate, i.e. both certificates (Caste & Domicile) should both be issued from the same State.
- Candidates who fall in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas & candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir as well as Leh & Ladakh regions of J&K(Jammu & Kashmir) who request for relaxation in the height & chest measurements should produce certificates in the certain prescribed format as per the official notice.
- A discharge certificate is required as per rules in the case of Ex-servicemen.
- No objection Certificate shall be required in case of people who are serving in Govt./Semi-Govt. Departments from their Head of Office.
- In the case of wards who are serving the CISF personnel, who are applying from a certain State other than their Home State, certificates have to be submitted by them.
- Four recent passport size photographs of the candidates are required.
- Identification Certificates in case of WPRs (West Pakistani Refugees) who are residing in the State of J&K (Jammu & Kashmir) is a requirement.
- Domicile certificates for all those who had ordinarily resided in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01.01.1980 up to 31.12.1989 in case of age relaxation.
- The applicant should be carrying an identity proof such as Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Identity Card as issued by the University/College, Income Tax/Pan Card in original which he/she shall have mentioned in his/her application form.
STAGE 5 : (Qualifying in Nature)
Candidates who pass the Height Bar Test (HBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and a thorough documentation process will be subjected to a trade test as required for each position (such as barber, cobbler, cook, or gardener).
