- According to an official circular issued by the UGC, all nine universities - eight from the North Eastern States and one from Uttarakhand - have been exempted from the CUET 2022.

Important Points about CUET 2022:
2. The counselling procedure will be managed by the various universities. The institutions will be producing their own Merit Lists for the programmes provided, and they may adopt the same approach as in past years to fill the seats that have become vacant due to dropouts.
3. It is the full duty of the candidates to be clear about their selections and the needs of the universities to which they wish to be admitted, as well as to ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements and correctly fill out the application.
4. Admission to UG programmes at Central Universities for the academic year 2022-23 will be dependent on the NTA score attained in the CUET (UG) - 2022.
5. In order to enable the sharing of data post-results with the respective Universities for the admission process, you must include the name/s of the University/ies/Participating Institutions where you intend to apply in your application form for CUET (UG) - 2022.
CUET Colleges: Documents needed for Admission
The following documents are required for admission to CUET institutions and universities:
- Certificate of Achievement
- Any form of valid identification (Aadhar card, Voter ID, Passport, etc)
- Certification of domicile
- a recent passport-sized photo (Colored)
- CUET Marksheet Counseling Letter
- Certificate of Caste (If applicable)
- Character reference
Participating Universities in CUET - Key Points
-Before filling out the application form, applicants should review the list of CUET 2021 participating universities.
-While filling out the application form, candidates must choose three CUET participating universities.
-Before submitting an application, candidates should review the CUET eligibility criteria for 2021. The CUET participating universities' eligibility standards for a programme vary based on the institutes.
-It is critical to choose the correct CUET participating universities while completing the application form, as changes will not be permitted afterwards.
-Candidates who wish to enrol in more than three CUET participating universities must pay an additional fee of Rs. 800 (in the General/OBC category) and Rs. 350 (in the SC/ST category).
-Candidates must exercise extreme caution when choosing a CUET participating university's programme code.
-Before completing out the CUET application form, candidates must have their documents ready.
-Candidates must report to the CUET participating universities to claim their admissions after the merit lists are announced.
