The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) will hold the ESIC 2022 exam to fill a total of 3882 vacancies regularly for the positions of Upper Division Clerk (UDC), Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), and Stenographer through Direct Recruitment in ESIC. The ESIC will fill 1769 Upper Division Clerk (UDC) posts on a regular basis through Direct Recruitment in ESIC out of the 3882 vacancies.
The ESIC UDC 2022 Online Registration will close on February 15th, 2022. The ESIC UDC 2022 will be held in three stages: online prelims, online mains, and online computer skills test. ESIC UDC 2022 Eligibility: Nationality

A candidate for ESIC UDC 2022 must be one of the following:
  • A citizen of India or, 
  • a subject of Nepal or, 
  • a subject of Bhutan or, 
  • a Tibetan refugee who entered India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement in India or, (v) a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Candidates in categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Upper Age Limit Relaxation

The Upper Age Limit Relaxation is provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen) and for ESIC Employees and Government Servants.

As per instructions of DoPT, a PWD applicant is entitled to age concession in different combinations subject to the condition of the maximum age of 56 years.

Further in the case of a PWD under being an ESIC/Govt. Employee, concession to him/her will be admissible either as a 'person with a disability or as an ESIC/Govt. Employee' whichever may be more beneficial to him/her.

Ex-Servicemen

(i) UR- 3 years (*)

(ii) OBC- 6 years (*)

(iii) SC/ST- 8 years (*)

(*) after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age

ESIC Employee/ Government Servant who have rendered not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on closing date for receipt of application

(i) UR- up to 40 years

(ii) OBC- up to 43 years

(iii) SC/ST- upto 45 years

Note- Applicant should continue to have the status of ESIC/ Govt. servant till the time of appointment, in the event of his/her selection.

ESIC UDC 2022 Eligibility: Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for ESIC UDC 2022 must have the following qualifications: 
  1. a degree from a recognised university or equivalent.
  2. Working knowledge of computers, including knowledge of Microsoft Office suites and databases.

NOTE: Candidates who do not have or will not have the required educational qualifications as of February 15, 2022 (the closing date for acceptance of online applications) will be ineligible to apply for ESIC UDC 2022.

ESIC UDC Experience Requirement

There is no minimum criterion for the candidate's experience in the field in the ESIC UDC recruitment procedure. Because the minimum age limit for all positions is 18 years old, it is clear that prior experience is not required. A candidate may apply as long as he or she meets the eligibility requirements.

1- How many attempts permitted for ESIC UDC Exam

There have been no announcements on the number of attempts a candidate may make. This means that an aspirant can participate in the ESIC UDC Selection Process as long as he or she meets the age and educational qualification requirements.

4- What is the medium of an Answer for ESIC UDC Exam?

The medium of the answer is bilingual except English in this exam.

5- What is the salary of ESIC UDC?

The initial basic pay as per ESIC UDC Salary is Rs. 25,000/- which can be increased up to Rs. 81,000 after several promotions during the service period at ESIC.
