10 women cadets will son join the Army, 6 air force and 3 Navy.

Who Is Girls NDA Topper
As per government figures, of the 5,75,856 applicants for the entrance exam, 1,77,654 were women.
The Army on its part had notified 19 seats for Girls Cadets.
Shana Dahaka and the other 18 Girls will soon be heading to National Defence Academy as the first amongst many more to come in the future. Shanan Dhaka is a resident of Haryana.
She will be the third in her family to adorn the olive greens with her grandfather, Chanderbhan Dhaka, who was a Subedar, and my father, Vijay Kumar Dhaka, who retired as a Naib Subedar from the Army Service Corps( N0w Retired).

She has studied from Army Public Schools at Roorkee, Jaipur and Chandimandir (Panchkula), had enrolled for an undergraduate course at Lady Shri Ram College for Women in Delhi last year.

What Is NDA Exam
he full form of NDA is National Defence Academy. NDA is located in Khadakwasla, Maharashtra, near Pune. NDA or National Defence Academy was established in 1954. Its aim is to train young Gentlemen Cadets to become tomorrow's military officers and bring about synergy in all three branches of armed forces by providing joint training to young ones. The candidates after class 12 can join NDA after clearing an exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The NDA Exam is conducted twice a year. NDA is the first tri-service academy in the world. Supreme Court has permitted Girls candidates to join the NDA through the competitive examination.
