Haryana Civil Services Exam is conducted in three stages-- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
- Interview
Haryana Civil Services Exam Pattern: Preliminary Exam
- There are objective questions asked in this stage.
- It comprises of two papers- General Studies and Aptitude Test.
- The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
- There is negative marking and 1/4 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer.

- This is an offline exam.

Candidates who qualify the mains exam appear for the interview.
This is the final stage of the recruitment process.
This round carries a total of 75 marks.
The final merit list is prepared on the basis of marks received in Mains Exam and Interview round.
