The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam for the recruitment of Grade “B” and “C” category posts in various Government Ministries, Departments, and Offices. The exam is now held in two stages.  It is considered to be one of the biggest examinations to be conducted for graduate students in India. Each year around 15 lack candidates apply for this examination. With the recent changes in the SSC CGL Exam pattern, the candidates must now score minimum marks in the GK section in order to make it to the next stage. So it is crucial to get a good rank even at times to crack the examination.

Divide the Topics for SSC CGL Exam

Make a list of the subjects, and start learning about them every day. Write down each point separately for easier revision. Set out time each day for each subject on a study schedule. You can concentrate on a different topic each day.
  • Prepare subjects with a high weightage.
  • Begin by studying the most crucial aspects of that subject.
  • Prepare previous year's questions from each of the high-weightage subjects' important topics.
  • Identify the topics' weak and strong points and practise questions on them.

Solve Previous Year's Papers

You must go over the papers from the previous five years. This will assist you in recognising the topics that are frequently tested in SSC exams. Furthermore, practising these papers during the preparation session will help you acquire confidence and improve your understanding of the test. It has also been observed that the SSC poses identical types of enquiries on occasion. As a result, do not disregard them.

SSC CGL preparation takes around a year of concentrated effort to cover all of the topics in their totality. The General Awareness subject is the most essential component that may make or break your hope of being selected in the SSC CGL test. It consists of two sections: general knowledge and current events. Candidates must prepare all of the General Knowledge themes as well as the current affairs from the previous year. In the most recent test, the Tier-I exam included questions about the preceding year's current events. The remaining areas of the SSC CGL Tier-I test include math, reasoning, and English. The SSC CGL Tier-I test began on April 11 and will conclude on April 21.
