Tips to Select Courses for CUET 2022 Exam:
1.
Divide Courses into Category:
Always make three categories for the courses you want to choose.
The first category is for the courses which are your top priorities.
These include the courses you are seeking to get admission in.
The second category is the courses that are your 2nd priority, this includes the courses which are your backup options with the help of which you can get admission to the university of your top choice.

Choose the University of your Choice:
Always be clear on the top 4-6 universities preference of your choice which should include 2 famous Universities, 2 State central Universities, and 2 State/Deemed/Private Universities.

Consider Reputed Courses as Well:
Apart from the courses which are based on your class 12th domain subject, also consider the courses which are generic in nature and you are eligible for an effective selection of additional domain-specific subjects.
4.
Don’t Copy other Preference:
Always select your preference on the basis of your expectations, interest, capabilities, and future plan.
Don’t copy the same preference list of your relatives or friends.

Choosing a Language in which you are an Expert:
- The language portion is the first part of the test which is followed by the academic field for which the students are applying and the last is the general ability portion.
- There is a total of 13 language papers in Section 1A and in Section 1B there are 19 papers in the language section. Students graduating with a degree in a particular language have to take a language paper form 1B. Also, Section 1A and 1B allow the students for selecting 3 languages.
Domain-Specific:
It is possible that a student can select not more than 2 subjects from a total of 27 languages. If a subject is not included in the domain-specific list a student can choose a subject i.e. related to the domain list. Hence, for the course of biotechnology candidate has to select biology as a prerequisite course. We can get the questions related to the specific domains from the NCERT.
General Test:
There is a wide range of topics that are covered under the General test which include current events, general knowledge, general mental aptitude, current events, quantitative reasoning, and logical and analytical thinking.You may also read:
How can we score the maximum with the Domain Specific Subjects:
- The domain-specific test of the CUET entrance test has 27 disciplines out of which you have to select 2 if had one subject language-specific and 3 from the general test series for UG courses.
- This section has the difficulty level of the 12th class. Hence, if you are familiar with the subject will help you to score well.
- Also, you have to select the courses in which you are interested and to which you are looking forward in the future. Always attempt MCQ questions from the NCERT books which are of various difficulty levels.
