IBPS Clerk Vacancy trend analysis:
The vacancies in the examination have seen a downward trend. The 6035 vacancies this year are less than last year's 7855 vacancies. The candidates must note that the year of 2020-2021 saw the lowest number of vacancies- 2557. The trend in vacancies is mentioned below:

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must have a minimum qualification of Graduation recognized by the Government, and their age should be between 20-28 to apply for the IBPS Clerk post. The candidates who belong to the reserved category

The candidates must possess a valid Mark-sheet of graduation on the particular day they have to register, indicating the marks scored in Graduation.
If the candidate does not satisfy the, their candidature will be cancelled at any stage of the examination

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2023: How To Apply and Application Form
The online application form will begin on 1st of July to 21 st of July. The candidates need to follow these steps while filling the application form:-

The candidates will have to visit the official website of IBPS Clerk i.e. ibps.in

Then, the candidates will be required to search for the “IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2023” on the homepage

Post this the candidates will be required to click on the new registration and fill in the personal details like candidates name, father’s name, address, date of birth etc.

After all the details are filled the candidates must recheck all the details entered and then move on to uploading the photograph and signature

Candidates are required to upload documents like caste certificate, income certificate, marksheet etc and then click on the submit button
- Once the application form is submitted the candidates will get their registration number and password on their registered email id.

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2023: Exam Pattern
Preliminary Examination

The exam will be held online with multiple choice questions of a total of 100 questions, 35 questions will be Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability each and 30 questions will be from the English section.

The exam will have sectional timing where 20 minutes will be allotted for each section.

Each correct answer will fetch a candidate with 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Mains Exam

A total of 190 questions will be asked in the mains examination with a maximum of 200 marks.

Questions from Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude will carry 1.20 marks.

The rest sections i.e. Numerical Ability, English Language and General Awareness will carry 1 mark for each correct answer.

The candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer while 0.25 marks will be deducted as negative marking

The exam will be held for 2 hours and 40 minutes.

The candidates will have to clear both the sections to secure a seat in the IBPS Clerk.
